Death Notice
Michael died on the 18th June unexpectedly and after a short illness. We would like to thank all of you who knew, supported and befriended Michael throughout his life, both in his younger days and later life. Michael's life included moments of tragedy, loss and challenge. But also times of joy, happiness and laughter. He entertained many down through the years and, in his early years, became an inspiration to the blind and others who were less able bodied.

Michael refused to accept a life of dependence because of his blindness. He pushed his visual disability aside and got on with life.

Some will remember Micheal for his fondness of the 'auld pint', many will remember him for his music and the voice that entertained so many. Or you might remember his humour and story-telling.We, his family, will remember the many facets that made up Michael, influenced by his life story. We will miss him dearly. Please remember Michael in your prayers.

We will continue to maintain and develop this site in his memory.
